Only time a concert has ever been closed by Trip Through Your Wires. This show was originally planned for El Paso, then Albuquerque, but ultimately takes place in Las Cruces and is U2's only show to date in New Mexico.

Primeira representação de Zooropa desde 12 de agosto de 1993 e apenas a quarta vez que é tocada. First performance of Zooropa since 12 August 1993 and just the fourth ever. This is the first time Zooropa has ever been played in full, as all three previous versions were incomplete and began at the "and I have no compass" verse. Also the tour debut of Out Of Control, last performed on 4 December 2006.

Bono lê o poema “The End”, de Samuel Beckett, em um evento de caridade na cidade de Nova York. A noite foi em benefício ao Drawing Center, para homenagear o artista Sean Scully.

Bono:
“Eu tenho bastante sorte em conviver com alguns dos trabalhos de Sean Scully. Claro, eles são muito musicais, líricos, mas é a sua disciplina que eu quero ter por perto.”

Scully pinta blocos horizontais e verticais de cores ricas, “se aproximando da tela como um kickboxer ou um construtor,” disse Bono. “Essas grades com as bordas desgastadas não pretendem conter emoções incontroláveis. O que elas fazem é sugerir limites. Limites são importantes para um artistas, eu disse.”
