O limão gigante quebrou e não foi utilizado. Antes de Desire, Bono perguntou ironicamente se a chuva persistente da noite foi o trabalho do político Fred Nile e disse à multidão para não deixar chuva do Nile em seu desfile. Ele, então, em tom de brincadeira dedicada Desire à Nile e outro politico australiano conservador, Pauline Hanson. Este espetáculo contou com a última performance de MLK até 3 de Fevereiro de 2002.

O material de divulgação da turnê do U2 que foi distribuídos para a equipe durante turnê terceira perna da Popmart, em 1997, indicava uma opção para um segundo show em Sydney, na noite seguinte. Este concerto não foi anunciado, pois a demanda foi insuficiente.

The giant lemon was broken, so it was not used. Before Desire, Bono asked humorously if the evening's persistent rain was the work of controversial state politician Fred Nile and told the crowd not to let Nile rain on their parade. He then jokingly dedicated Desire to the socially conservative Nile and another controversial Australian politican, Pauline Hanson. This show featured the last performance of MLK until 3 February 2002.

Documents about U2's 1998 tour plans that were distributed to their tour crew during Popmart's third leg in 1997 indicated there was an option for a second Sydney show at this venue the next night, 1998-02-28. This second concert was never announced as demand was insufficient. (U2Gigs)

Boots, Beautiful Day, and Breathe are broadcast live on radio, while Magnificent is only shown on a website video stream accessible solely to UK viewers - it will be broadcast the next week on Zane Lowe's radio show. The band were going to play a cover but ran out of rehearsal time; Bono nonetheless sarcastically snippeted a line of I Kissed A Girl and asked the audience to imagine they are a U2 cover band before Beautiful Day began.
