Before the concert, Bono hears Neil Young's Southern Man on the radio and likes it enough that he encourages the band not only to soundcheck it, but to actually perform it that very night. The band goes along with Bono, and because he knows few of the song's lyrics, Bono pulls a fan on stage to help him out during the concert. U2 grava uma performance ao ar livre de "Invisible" no "Top of the Rock" em Nova York - esse é o nome da plataforma de observação no topo superior da sede da NBC em 30 Rockefeller Center, em Manhattan.
Live debut of Invisible, which was played twice. U2 performed on the observation deck at the top of the building home to NBC's headquarters. They were filmed for the premiere of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and played for a small audience including fanclub members. The band played again the next day to minimise the risk of poor weather interfering with their performance. (U2Gigs)
