Quando "Gone" começa, Bono canta "Ela se foi... ela se foi...", foi a primeira das muitas referências a Diana. Ele começa a cantar "MLK", e quando atinge a segunda letra de "sleep tonight", uma imagem de Diana aparece na telão.

It is a more personal show than the night before, as several songs are dedicated to the band's families and friends. When "Gone" begins, Bono sings "She's gone... she's gone...", the first of many references to Diana. After "Mysterious Ways" ends, Bono is walking back to the main stage with his head down and appears to be crying.
