U2 faz uma apresentação improvisada, conhecida como Save the Yuppie, simulando uma ajuda após a queda da bolsa em outubro de 1987. A versão cover de All Along the Watchtower, de Bob Dylan, é capturada para Rattle and Hum, esta é a primeira vez que ela tocada desde 1 de fevereiro de 1981 e é tão desorganizada que foi tocada em estúdio antes do lançamento comercial. Durante a performance de Pride, Bono picha "Rock and Roll Stops the Traffic" na Fountain Vaillancourt. A cidade emite um mandado de prisão contra ele e o cantor escreve uma carta de desculpas.

U2 play an impromptu "Save the Yuppie" concert as a mock benefit following the October 1987 stock market crash. A cover version of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" is captured for Rattle and Hum, this is the first time U2 had performed it since 1 February 1981 and it is so ramshackle that it was touched up in the studio before the commercial release. During a performance of "Pride", Bono spray-painted "Rock and Roll Stops the Traffic" on the Vaillancourt Fountain. The city issues a warrant for Bono's arrest and Bono writes a letter of apology.

Adam was at the Horology Grand Prix in Geneva which honours watchmaking excellence - and is sometimes called 'the Oscars of the watch world' - where he presented the prize for 'Mechanical Exception' to Ferdinand Berthoud.
